UPDATE (12/07/09):
"Nothing is more compelling that a smart idea, executed well." This is Work Labs' staff's common belief. Their website's home page (
www.worklabs.com) is pretty unique. Its really a porfolio front page with a great looking twist to it. They also have a timeline at the rightiside which tells of their remarkable milestones.
PCMag.com recently redesigned their website. And I think it looks good and organized better. The website breathes easier because of the larger fonts and better white space positioning. The previous website was chock full of links to various reviews, sections and features plus advertisements that looking for what you want gets hard. I usually read the opinions section and they are easier to find. Take the site out for a spin and while your there don't forget to read the Best Tech Products of 2009 article.

WALKING ADS (11/19/09)
Early this afternoon, I saw a weird looking object at the corner of Makati Ave. and Gil Puyat. Lo, it was a mobile ad for Shomen noodles piggybacked by a guy. I initially dimissed it but I was eating lunch with my team at our Corporate Communications Dept. when our discussion went to those guys who are now occupying all four corners of the intersction. Sometimes two of them will go back-to-back and you will get two different ads. We thought it was a great idea. Then after a few more minutes, all five of them went to one corner looking like they were going to rest (which they did) but they all had their ads lined-up. The photo you see above left is what I am talking about. Gene, a member of our team, walked up to them and found out that they are with Ad-Trains.
UPDATE (11/18/09): This is the interim layout for the design + creativity section of edwinarceo.com. I'm doing it this way so that I can quickly put in new content. I hope you will appreciate it.
